My name is Kristiana. I am a yoga teacher, creative professional, and lifelong student of philosophy and self-discovery.
For more than a decade I worked in marketing, graphic design, UX design, and digital strategy. My work was focused on building brands, shaping ideas, and creating meaningful experiences in the digital world. While I enjoyed the creativity and fast pace of that environment, over time I felt a growing curiosity about a deeper question: how do we live well — not only professionally, but internally?
This question eventually led me to India.
I traveled to Mumbai to study in one of the oldest organized yoga centers in the world, founded in 1918. There I completed Yoga Teacher Training program, studying traditional yoga practices including asana, pranayama, meditation, and classical yogic philosophy such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
That experience marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
For me, yoga is not only a physical practice. It is a system for understanding the mind, cultivating discipline, and developing a more conscious way of living. It invites us to observe ourselves honestly, to grow with patience, and to bring more clarity into everyday life.
Yatra — a Sanskrit word meaning journey — is where I document this path.
This space is a personal journal of exploration: reflections from my studies, insights from yoga philosophy, lessons from travel, and the ongoing process of integrating ancient wisdom into modern life.
I do not claim to have all the answers. I write as a student — someone walking the path with curiosity, humility, and a desire to understand more deeply.
My intention is simple: to share the journey.
